"The following improvements were connected with the above but made by N. L. Hutchins in 1835 and was at the date of the treaty the equitable property of Mr. Rogers"

"July 3, the return of the valuing agents examined and approved and their [...] sustained in relation to the foregoing valuations in favor of William Rogers, by the commissioners - Wilson Lumpkin."

"I certify that some time in or about the month of October 1835 I sold to William Rogers, a Native Cherokee, my land and improvements adjoining including his improvements and residence and gave my bonds to him for titles to the same conditioned to make little when the purchase money should be paid which was in some short time (not distinctly recollected) but if the purchase money was not paid I reserved the right (expressed in the bonds) to redeem the bond by tendering his note the money not being paid. I same time in the spring or early in the summer of the present year delivered up the note and took up my bond that the date of the treaty. Roger and myself each had part possession of the improvements he holding the equitable, I the legal title - I further certify that about 30 acres of his improved low ground was sold at Skeriff's sale as the property of John Lambert in 1835 which I purchased at [...] sale and that he is now and has been for the present years turned out of possession of the balance of his improvements except a few acres on fraction no. 73-1-1.
