"We, John Waters and Samuel Burns, agents appointed to value Indian improvements in the counties of Floyd and Walker do hereby certify that the foregoing from pages 53 exhibits a true statement of valuations made by us according to the best of our skill and judgment and in conformity to our instructions, and the provisions of the Treaty made with the Cherokee Tribe of Indians at New Echota in the 29th day of December last. Certified and signed this 16th December 1836"
