The description of the first house was too long for the description field. The description is continued here: "The cracks between the logs neatly lined with narrow planks, a story and a half high, good floors laid upstairs and staircase [...], six bottom doors hung with hook and eye hinges, four large windows below, and six small ones upstairs with bottom shutters well [...] and fired, and hung with best hinges, and three of the doors have knob locks, and the other three stock locks and a very good door cellar with a good door and lock. All the above described here was erected between the signing and ratification of the Treaty. The laying of two floors in one of the rooms and making two doors [...] as stated by said Blackburn and certified to by Ambrose Blackburn."

"On the next pages started or done all the work about the house of Lewis Blackburn described on the other page, and testify on honor that the time of its [erection ... ] as then started. Given under my hands this 21 September 1836 - Ambrose Blackburn, a line copy."
