"With regard to Saddlebags, English John, Stinking Fish, Monkey, Bill, and Charley, we have to say that they have heretofore been considered a Creek Indian but have totally proved that they have a Cherokee parentage.
They were not included in last census taken of the Cherokees, the census taker not knowing that those people were part Cherokee."
