An additional claim was made for land worth $3 per acre per year of which George was dispossessed in Spring 1835; it is unclear whether this claim was approved (it is not included in the above total).

Both claims were made by James Foster of Coosawatee as the next of kin to the deceased George. He being nephew to George, there are perhaps others are near of kin. It is said George has a widow living and that his brother, Will, and some destitute orphan children on the Coosawatee 6 or 8 miles above New Echota and that Sam Adair can be refered to and that the widow of Will should not be trusted with any money that may be awarded to the orphans, she being extravagant and not capable of taking care of it.

The claim was approved on June 8th 1837; the decision of whom to pay the credit to was deferred to a later date.
