Writing on the concluding page of the valuation book reads: "We the undersigned appraising agents under the Treaty with the Cherokee Indians of Dec. 29th 1835, for the counties of Cass and Paulding do hereby certify that the foregoing valuations and estimates have been made in conformity with said Treaty and instructions from the late Superintendant of Cherokee removals according to the best of our Skill and Judgment.
