"Commissioner's Office 23rd March 1838. " Cawna, full blood, being sworn saith that to much of the improvement which is valued to her father Fox Fire which lies on the south side of Coosa River belongs to her, she having purchased the same and paid her own property for it and that her father never claimed it. Sworn to before me, James Liddell."
"Pipe and Archy, Cherokees, being sworn saith that they know the facts stated in the above affidavit to be true. Sworn to before me, 23rd March 1838. James Liddell, commissioners"
