BIA_12a_42 "A [...] to the representation of Col. Josiah Shaw and one of the valuing agents made to the commissioners in writing is appears that for wants of proper information the dwelling house of John Rogers valued at $20.00 ought in justice to have been valued at $38.00, therefore, ordered that the sum of $1800.00 to be placed on the register as additional valuation"

"I certify that John Rogers was compelled to purchase about 110 acres improved river low ground in his improvement on the Chattahoochee River in said county in the early part of the year 1835 and that the rent of said land is reasonably worth the sum of six dollars pr. acre pr. annum and also about 51 acres (including lots) of upland at the same time and place which was and is worth the sum of two dollars and fifty cents pr. annum rent.
