"No. 29. "I certify that some time in the early part of the year 1835 I took possession of about 25 acres of the first rate river bottom land on the Hightower at the Big Savannah in said county being part of the improvements made by Silas Palmour an Indian Country man The law restricting him to 160 acres and that said land was worth at least $6.00 pr. acre pr. annum rent. Witness my hand and seal this 4th day, November 1836. A. Palmour. In presence of Jo. Shaw, George Kellogg."
