Received Cherokee Agency - from the U.S. commissioners sixteen dollars and eighteen cents in full of the above account. The pony having been claimed and adjudicated by said commissioners to the Indian to whom it belonged and having taken it from my possession have hereby paid to me the money for which it was originally sold as appears from the return of the agents for the sale of Indian property.
