Property Returns

Received Cherokee Agency Tennessee. Oct. 2nd 1838 of the U.S. commissioners twenty dollars in full of the above account. Attest W.W. Liddell. Doctor Frog (his mark)

Received of L. Cunningham and Cook agents one sow and calf lame which was sold by them as the property of my wife Wally Watts, the Daughter of Nelly watts which is satisfaction in place of the many which they should have brought. Attest Waddy Thompson, Cansdoir (his mark)

This woman gave unto us a mare and colt which said Benjamin G. Pollard had taken from her. W. Pollard acknowledged to us that he had taken them and that he had taken them to induce her to deliver to him certain hoses which she or her son or both had taken from him.
