Property Returns

This man to us a list of articles which we were unable to find with the excpetence of one canoe and chair which we delivered to William Lay in satisfaction of an account for merchandise proved satisfactorily to us.

This woman rendered to us a list to [edit?], 1 table, 1 chair, and one pail which property we found in the possession of a white woman who proved to our satisfaction by two respectable white witnesses that she had bought and paid to said Indian for said articles

This Cherokee described to us a place where he had concealed two pots and one pail but after diligently searching with his former white neighbors were unable to find the place described

This Cherokee rendered to us a list of property left by him when taken by the troops but is going to his residence, his house door was broken open and not one article specified in the list - was to be found

The agents also report the sum of twenty dollars received from Samuel Loudermilk which he acknowleded was due to Chulla or Fox a Cherokee for some ponies which is paid over to us to be placed to the credit of said Fox of Chulla
